Purchase Assistant

Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and organized Purchase Assistant to join our team. The Purchase Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, assisting with purchasing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services needed for the companys operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment as per the companys requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure the best prices for products.
• Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely order placement.
• Maintain a record of all purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
• Handle inquiries from suppliers and resolve any issues with delivery or quality.
• Assist in managing supplier contracts and maintaining good supplier relationships.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget limits.
• Support the procurement team in negotiating with suppliers for better terms or discounts.
• Prepare and update reports on purchasing activities, including costs and order status.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s inventory management system.
