As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our art auction website by identifying and engaging potential clients, building strong relationships with existing clients, and promoting our platform to maximize auction participation. Your goal is to ensure our clients have an exceptional experience, resulting in increased sales and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and target potential clients, including artists, collectors, galleries, and dealers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand clients needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions and services.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Promote upcoming auctions, special events, and featured artworks to clients.
Utilize various sales techniques, including cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach.
Attend art fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to expand the client base and promote our platform.
3. Market Research and Analysis:
Stay updated with market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential clients.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance our offering
4. Tie-ups and Consignment Acquisition:
Establish and manage partnerships with artists and galleries for consignment agreements.
Negotiate consignment terms and ensure mutually beneficial arrangements.
Coordinate the consignment process, including artwork appraisal, logistics, and contract management.
Maintain a portfolio of consignors and ensure ongoing satisfaction and engagement.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
Qualifications:
bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Art History, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the art or luxury goods industry.
Strong understanding and appreciation of art and the art market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
