Kalpita Technologies - Lead/Architect - Looker/SQL/Tableau (4-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture & Design :

- Architect and design scalable, high-performance data models and architecture leveraging Looker, Sigma, and SQL to meet business requirements.

- Implement data strategies that align with business objectives and ensure smooth, efficient data flow across systems.

- Develop data governance strategies, ensuring best practices for data management and security.

Data Integration :

- Integrate multiple data sources from various systems and ensure seamless data flow and consistency.

- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and pipelines to streamline data integration.

Reporting & Visualization :

- Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Looker, Sigma, and Tableau to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions that address both operational and strategic business needs.

Optimization :

- Optimize SQL queries, Looker models, and dashboards for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and reporting.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement improvements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.

- Gather requirements, translate business needs into data models and reporting solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Best Practices & Governance :

- Establish and enforce best practices for data management, security, and compliance across the organization.

- Ensure proper documentation of data models, architecture, and processes to promote knowledge sharing and consistency.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture with a strong focus on Looker, Sigma, SQL, and Tableau.

- Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing scalable reporting solutions.

- Experience in data integration, modeling, and optimization.

Skills :

- Looker : Proficiency in creating data models, visualizations, and reports using Looker.

- Strong experience in LookML (Looker Modeling Language) to create reusable, high-quality data models.

- Sigma Computing : Hands-on experience with Sigma's cloud-based analytics platform to build complex reports and dashboards.

- SQL : Strong proficiency in SQL for writing optimized queries, database management, and performance tuning.

- Tableau : Expertise in creating advanced dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, with the ability to integrate multiple data sources and leverage Tableau's data connectors.

- Data Integration & ETL : Understanding of integrating various data sources (both structured and unstructured), and experience designing and managing ETL processes.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud data solutions such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

- Data Modeling : Expertise in designing efficient, scalable data models and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Data Governance & Security : Knowledge of best practices for data security, compliance, and governance (GDPR, CCPA).

- Performance Optimization : Strong problem-solving skills for optimizing SQL queries, dashboards, and reporting systems for better performance.

- Business Intelligence Tools : Familiarity with additional BI tools or data analytics software for better reporting and visualization (i.e., Power BI).

- Collaboration Tools : Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack for effective team collaboration.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
