AGM- Structural Civil in Architecture Department

This role will play a key role in overseeing and managing the structural and civil engineering operations within the Architecture Department. This individual will support and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of architectural and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management & Coordination:

• Lead and manage structural civil engineering aspects of architectural projects from conceptualization to completion.
• Ensure projects adhere to design specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural and civil design solutions into the architectural framework.
• Review and approve detailed drawings, plans, and calculations for compliance with regulations and quality standards.

• Team Leadership & Development:
• Supervise and guide a team of structural engineers, civil engineers, and technical staff.
• Provide leadership and mentorship, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training to enhance technical skills and career development.

• Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Implement best practices and quality assurance protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all project deliverables.
• Review and approve reports, studies, and assessments related to structural and civil engineering.

• Strategic Planning & Reporting:
• Assist in the development of strategic plans and initiatives for the architecture department.
• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project progress, challenges, and risks.
• Support the development and execution of long-term operational goals and departmental objectives.

• Client & Stakeholder Relations:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering technical expertise and guidance.
• Address and resolve any concerns or issues related to structural civil engineering elements of projects.

• Budget & Resource Management:
• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
• Monitor project costs and timelines, implementing corrective actions as necessary to avoid delays or budget overruns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural or civil engineering
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, civil engineering practices, and building systems.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with luxury, residential, or mixed-use architectural projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable design and green building practices.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
