The Role:
A Financial Analysis Specialist is responsible for evaluating financial data to support organizational decision-making, ensuring financial health, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance, aiding in strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market conditions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance against benchmarks and industry standards, providing insights to support business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as marketing, operations, and sales to gather information and provide financial insights that inform business strategies.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies, and develop solutions to ensure data accuracy.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external parties.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified accountant - CA/ICWA
- A minimum of 6 years of recent and responsible bookkeeping experience, including preparation, recording, and booking of general ledger entries, trial balances, and working with a computerized accounting system.
- Must have working exposure to onshore geographies.
