About The Company:
ARA's client is an institutionally owned and managed workplace portfolio across Tier 1 Indian cities comprises 8.2 million square feet, including four business parks and two special economic zones. The portfolio is endorsed by a marquee tenant base which includes a diverse industry mix of multinational corporations such as Accenture, Fidelity, Microsoft, PayPal, Standard Chartered Bank, Sutherland, Maersk, WNS, etc. and strong domestic franchises like Bajaj Finance, etc. amongst others.
The Role:
The Business Analyst would have the opportunity to join an established Office Platform in Indian Real Estate. The selected candidate would be involved in execution of Annual Business Plan of the portfolio entities with long term value creation targets. The role provides a unique confluence of finance, business, and operations workstreams to develop holistic management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of strategic plan, reporting, budgeting, and assisting in execution of business plans to create long-term value for key stakeholders.
- Create and deliver high-quality portfolio reporting to investors/shareholders on monthly/quarterly basis as per defined formats
- Assist in executing leasing / debt related documents by coordinating with shareholders, lenders and legal counsels
- Data mining & analysis to support strategic decision making for, leasing, operations and other decisions to be approved by the Board of Directors
- Be part of strategic change initiatives/projects across the platform with a focus on optimization/improvement of processes using technology
- Market research and analysis of the competitive landscape
- Execute strategic initiatives across the portfolio - ESG, LEED Certifications, green power, GRESB, technology, ERP, marketing, asset upgradation etc.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant post-graduate work experience
- Experience with Real Estate focus or similar platforms/ portfolio companies sponsored/ owned by private equity funds/ institutional investors
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, inquisitive, pro-active attitude, and ability to take ownership of tasks/ processes assigned
- Excellent number crunching and proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in drafting proposals, pitch decks and coordinating closure of lease agreements
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment, with senior team members
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction
- Open to travel for business, meetings, and site visits
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance from a Tier-1 institution or qualified CA
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant post-graduate work experience
