Mep Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee the execution, material coordination, and site supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our swimming pool, landscape, irrigation, and wellness projects. This role requires regular travel between Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore to ensure smooth project execution, vendor coordination, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Site Supervision:

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including pumps, filtration systems, plumbing networks, electrical wiring, lighting, and control panels.
• Ensure installation work is executed as per approved designs and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
• Work closely with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to industry standards on-site.

Material Coordination & Vendor Management:

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of MEP materials.
• Verify material quality and specifications before installation.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to ensure materials are delivered and installed as per project timelines.
• Maintain proper inventory tracking to prevent shortages or delays.

Contract & Vendor Coordination:

• Work closely with MEP subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to contract terms and work scope.
• Assist in vendor negotiations, approvals, and compliance checks.
• Ensure timely completion of subcontracted work as per agreed schedules.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation before project handover.
• Document and report any deficiencies and corrective actions needed.
• Ensure all MEP systems are fully operational before final client delivery.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily site reports, material usage logs, and test reports.
• Report project progress and challenges to senior management.
• Ensure proper documentation of all MEP-related activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in MEP execution, site supervision, and vendor coordination (preferably in swimming pools, irrigation, plumbing, or electrical projects).
• Strong knowledge of pumps, filters, plumbing, electrical panels, automation systems, and water treatment plants.
• Experience in material coordination, vendor coordination, and contract management.
• Ability to travel regularly between Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore for site visits.
• Proficiency in site management, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

• Work Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Location: Chennai, Hyderabad & Bangalore (Regular site travel required).
• Leave Policy: 1 paid leave per month, apart from public holidays.
