Job requirements

The incumbent will play a critical role in facilitating the creation and management of contractual relationships. To ensure that the organizations interests are protected, and legal risks are minimized throughout the lifecycle of the contract.



Key Responsibilities



Review, analyze, draft a wide range of contracts agreements, including but not limited to vendor contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), other legal documents for UK, US India.
Engage in negotiations with external parties to ensure the best interests of the company are represented while maintaining positive business relationships.
Ensure that all contracts agreements adhere to applicable laws, regulations, company policies.
Identify assess potential legal risks associated with contracts provide proactive solutions to mitigate such risks.
Develop maintain a contract management system to monitor contract status, key milestones, renewals.
Offer legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, potential risks, legal implications.
Stay updated with relevant legal developments precedents to enhance legal knowledge ensure best practices in contract law.
Work closely with the legal team and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and legal projects.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency effectiveness of contract management processes


Experience Qualifications



LLB with over 8 years of experience as Contract Lawyer or in a similar legal role in a service sector or shared services environment handling B2B contracts only
Must have experience in reviewing Cross Border agreements, Business Transfer agreements knowledge of recent regulatory and statutory updates.
In-depth knowledge of contract law principles, contract drafting, and negotiation.
Familiarity with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear concise manner.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize responsibilities effectively
A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to handle evolving legal situations and adapt to changing business needs.
Demonstrated a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
