As an Aptiv ASUX India Customer Solutions Architect, your role will involve adapting innovation roadmaps to technical solutions for all product segments. This includes facilitating roadshows and providing demonstration properties with supporting data attributes to customers.
Your Role:
Develop technical product solutions aligned to customer requirements in the areas of product performance, quality, timing and cost.
Lead new business pursuits for next-generation automotive products.
End to End technical ownership of product hardware and software solutions for quotations and new business pursuits
Develop and leverage key relationships to support timely quotations to customers
Be the voice of the APTIV engineering team in front of the customer and the voice of the customer to the APTIV engineering team.
Follow internal APTIV procedures to meet internal and customer quote milestones
Effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple partners internally and externally including overall quote strategy
Create and document engineering resource and cost estimates (BOM) for new business execution.
Lead the Engineering Quote Reviews through the pursuits process.
Support Business Management and Finance during the development of the business case.
Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture planning and support product roadmap development
Own planning of customer specific product roadmap during the sourcing phase, working in direct contact with the GPO Technical Manager and Product Design Team
Track performance against KPIs and iterate to meet KPIs
Map out product dependencies the most efficient sequencing of product development
Work with the team leaders, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to meet customer product design needs driving design solution compatible to APTIV internal product roadmap
Maintain positive employee and team experiences by creating an environment that facilitates positive team health as well as provide guidance and management to all workers to ensure goals are met
Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Collaborating with the Operations and Excellence Office to maintain solid program execution and operational excellence.
Your Background:
Bachelors degree in engineering. A masters degree is a plus.
Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sectors is desirable.
ADAS, Compute or UX product former design experience
Proven experience in developing technical solutions and systems
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of relevant software tools.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other planning tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements
