JOB DESCRIPTION

Title of Position : Design Engineer
Department : Tool Engineering
Reports To : Deputy Manager
POSITION SUMMARY :
To support the CS Global Tool Development teams in Tool design and development.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:
- Responsible for Die design and development using NX software.
- Responsible for project planning and executions.
- To ensure the project quality as per the standards
- To meet the delivery deadlines.
EDUCATION (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training) -
Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool and Die.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in the Stamping die design .
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Good knowledge in Stamping die design
- Good skills in tool design using NX software.
- Good skills in d esign calculations(cutting clearance , Bending clearance ,Tonnage etc)
- Good knowledge in Tooling materials and material selection .
- Good knowledge in Tool manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge in plastic molding design
- Knowledge in gauge and fixture design and GDT.
