PDF accessibility

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Study Pre-Press emails briefly and determine requirements.
• Able to plan and schedule the project as per deadline.
• Ensure use of appropriate tools and systems for each project as per customer provided guideline.
• Ensure final delivery as per printers quality standards.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat third-party plug-ins/tools like Pitstop Professional, Quite Revealing, Quite a Box of Tricks and Neo Software.
• Proven Print Pre-flight experience.
• Very Good knowledge about PDF Accessibility with the WCAG, ADA, Section 508 standards.
• A strong portfolio of Pre-Press knowledge in info-graphics, image editing, and PDF editing.
• Knowledge of colours (Process and Pantone), types of binding, printer marks and bleed.
• Working knowledge or exposure to offset printing press & processes/imposition scheme.
• Conduct quality checks using appropriate methods and tools.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate should be a graduate or have another equivalent course as a basic qualification; Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology/BCA.
