IT Support Specialist - Microsoft 365 email services

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining smooth communication processes by managing and troubleshooting email-related issues for our organization and international clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 email services, including Outlook (new) and Outlook (classic).
• Manage email account creation, configuration, and deactivation for users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve email connectivity, delivery, and synchronization issues.
• Handle email migration tasks and data recovery operations
• emails need to be migrated/backed-up with as little disruption as possible.
• Setting up emails for clients (existing emails and new emails)
• Domain transfers
• Participate in incident management and coordinate with external vendors when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft 365 email services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and related tools.
• Familiarity with email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with managing email security measures (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and anti-spam solutions).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related tools for email management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, are a plus.
