1. JOB PURPOSE

This position exists in order to handle continuity of overall AMI deployment and O&M in line to contract requirement.

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Major Activities

Overall responsibility for handling continuity of overall AMI deployment, O&M, Data Communications, MDM, Cyber Security in line to project/ contract requirement.

To lead team of Site Manager and AMI specialists, set their KRAs, delegate and monitor responsibilities for design and delivery of AMI system in line to contract requirement.

Approval of AMI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from DISCOM, rollout with all project partners for compliance.

Ensure full compliance to AMI SOPs and exhibit zero tolerance to malpractices in line with Apraava Code of Conduct directly and with project partners.

To lead regular reviews with AMI Implementation Partner and Meter Manufacturer and align project priorities as planned.

Responsible for implementation of all IT & OT related activities for successful Go Live of AMI projects. This includes all IT related integration activities, development of Project Deployment Dashboards, SLA Dashboards, Meter Data Analytics

Implementation of Cyber Security Initiatives, Manage IT Risks & Compliance

Responsible for implementation and availability of all types of Communications system e.g. RF Mesh and Cellular for successful delivery of AMI project SLA requirements.

To determine Business process requirements for AMI system, regularly evaluate the efficiency of business processes according to organizational & program objectives and apply improvements.

Maintain customer centric approach, attend DISCOM project review meeting and handle escalations.

To monitor project issues in real time & ensure resolution.

To ensure Operational Go Live of AMI project on time, on budget.

Daily MIS reporting to stakeholders.

To Identify & target areas in which a business can improve operation by recommending solutions.

To ensure strategic capacity planning, conduct interviews,

hiring and ensure training to new technical support staff.

Annual financial numbers for AMI project will be as below. It will increase further with more projects. These numbers apply to all positions within perimeter of their roles & responsibilities.

Project Cost: INR 400 Crs. Annual Revenue: INR 50 Crs. Purchase Value: INR 250 Crs.

Engineering Graduate / Post-Graduate

Functional Skills

Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities (AMI / AMR Projects would be added advantage)

Relevant and total years of Experience
