1. JOB PURPOSE
The position exists to provide Technical / Engineering Support in Electrical Balance of Plant (E BoP) system for
Solar and Wind Projects with the broad objective of:
• Bidding Support for RFS Technical Evaluation, Guidance on Electrical BoP BOQ and power evacuation system
design basis and associated information’s in Databook. Support detailed Design Engineering for wind and
solar project Power evacuation system. PSS and MCR design. Technical documentation preparation review and
control. Support for Power system studies and simulation and reactive power studies and system selection and
design.
• Power quality studies
• Technical support to Project and OM team for E BoP

projects
• Key accountabilities but not limited to-
• Bidding Support for RFS Technical Evaluation, Guidance on
Electrical BoP BOQ and power evacuation system design basis
and associated information’s in Databook.
• Oversee the design and engineering of electrical systems
within the BoP, which include power distribution, switchgear,
transformers, control systems, protection systems, and
auxiliary equipment and its control systems
• Work closely with BD/procurement teams to source high-
quality electrical equipment and services from reliable vendors
and contractors. Conduct technical evaluations of bids and
proposals.
• Prepare BoP equipment’s specifications/RFP document,
Vendor lists, MLD etc. interact with OEM and vendors and
contractors to finalize the same.
• Ensure that all electrical BoP components meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

• Manage the electrical BoP budget and ensure cost-effective
solutions without compromising on quality and reliability.
• Support for route survey, LV/HV and EHV network Circuit
finalization to optimize the cost and line losses.
• Review QA / QC document, Factory inspection of critical
equipment, acceptance tests support during Site
commissioning
• Organizing the technical documentation of E BOP in database
for quick and easy retrieval
• Support the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to
ensure proper functioning and compliance with performance
requirements.
• Support for Power system studies and simulation and reactive
power studies and system selection and design Merger
Acquisition Projects
• Analyze and review of solar Wind power plant and
Switchyard Electrical design review and engineering during
MA projects.
• Technical due diligence covering design review, IS/IEC/CEA
compliance and validation, site visit, highlight the key issues /
engineering risks / design deficiencies and prepare mitigation
plan
Technical Innovation Developing Solutions
• Identify areas for process improvement within the engineering
team and across the organization.
• Implement and refine engineering best practices,
methodologies, and standards to enhance efficiency and
quality.
• Provide support in conceptualizing facilitate sharing of new
developments in Technology with the wider audience
Business Planning Budget Forecasting Budgeting for Technical Services in accordance with Business
Strategy on need basis
Developing self and others
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and
emerging technologies relevant to the organizations domain.
• Explore new technological developments and understand new
products / solutions
Management Functions
• Participate in formation of Regional Policies / Standards /
Guidelines as necessary to guide OM of Apraava Energy
Assets
• Facilitate technical collaboration within Apraava Energy
Assets on need basis
Interface with Hong Kong
• Engage with Hong Kong for all Apraava Energy related Technical Engagements (e.g., OTRs, Standards Guidelines formation)
• Network with Subject Matter Experts in Hong Kong for experience sharing

• Knowledge of the PSSE, PSCAD, ETAP, CYMCAP software
• In-depth understanding of Design Engineering aspects Solar Wind Electrical Balance of Plant system LV/HV/EHV system including the Polling substation and SCADA systems and its integration
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical systems in power generation projects.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic project environments.
B.E. (Electrical), with a focus on power generation or energy projects
Overall experience: 7+ years, experience on BESS and PV hybrid system integration is added advantage.
