Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Staffing Business - Account Manager with 12-16 years of experience in IT staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Account mining & farming, P&L management, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and the ability to work on multiple client accounts. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing existing client relationships, adding new SPOCs (Single Points of Contact) to accounts, and coordinating end-to-end client requirements. You should be comfortable with business development (BD) activities, and open to travelling for meetings to strengthen relationships and grow the business.


Role & responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing and nurturing long-term relationships to ensure business growth.
  • Business Farming: Drive growth within existing accounts through effective business farming strategies, increasing revenue and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • P&L Management: Oversee the P&L (Profit and Loss) for the assigned accounts, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
  • DSO Management: Monitor DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) for the accounts and work closely with the finance team to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Account Handling: Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of staffing requirements.
  • Add New SPOCs: Identify and add new SPOCs (Single Points of Contact) within client organizations to expand the scope of work and strengthen partnerships.
  • End-to-End Coordination: Coordinate all client-facing activities, including recruitment, staffing, and ongoing project support.
  • Business Development: Proactively engage in BD activities, identifying new opportunities, and working on strategies to win new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Travel for Meetings: Be open to travel for client meetings, conferences, and events to build relationships and further business development.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 12-16 years of experience in IT staffing with a proven track record in managing accounts and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management, DSO, and other key financial metrics.
  • Experience in handling multiple client accounts and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong background in business development (BD) activities, including identifying new opportunities and expanding business within existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end client coordination, from understanding requirements to delivering results.
  • Open to travelling for client meetings, on-site visits, and other business development activities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in handling large and strategic client accounts in the IT staffing domain.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing lifecycle and experience managing large-scale staffing solutions.
  • Ability to handle multi-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.
