Apprentice - Payroll - Accounting

Role & responsibilities :

• "Able to handle the payroll queries over the calls & emails.
• Able to calculate hours and overtime hours and process timesheets accurately
• (Any 9.5 hours shift from 06:00am IST to 11:00pm IST)
• Able to do basic reconciliation related to timesheet/salary adjustments.
• Proactive, accurate and ability to work on multiple payroll processes/tasks
• Processes Clients payroll every pay period
• Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering and calculating data
• Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
• Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles
• Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
• Honors confidentiality of employees pay records
• Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review"

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Client facing role so require a Good communications skills (verbal & written)
2. Proficient in Excel formulas and shortcuts.
3. Good Analytical & logical reasoning skills Good Accounting knowledge Minimum experience of 1-2 years of payroll experience. B.Com. CA/M.com
4. Willing to continue for a longer period of time.
