Job Role:

• Diploma BE/MTech in Mechanical Engineering with 6-8 years in API, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Life Science fields
• Plan and supervise plant maintenance operations, ensure safety compliance, and manage equipment maintenance, Good knowledge in Mechanical/HVAC.

Responsibilities

1. Plans, organizes, and supervises the plant. Maintenance operations with the

operation, including supervisory responsibilities for hiring and disciplinary

actions.

2. Coordinates, assigns, directs, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly schedules.

3. Monitors completion of job assignments through frequent field observation

and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and instruction and

revises instructions and time frames as necessary.

4. Responsible for training employees on equipment, task procedures, work

standards and proper safety procedures.

5. Serves as safety representative, including coordination of safety training needs,

assisting with safety audits, facilitating compliance with standards, and

maintaining related safety records.

6. Comprehensive knowledge of current practices and procedures involved in the

maintenance and repair of plant facilities.

7. Good knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures applicable to

work unit.

8. Ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks and

responsibilities.

9. Organizing and controlling general Maintenance of all the equipments

including preventive maintenance and operation of equipment/ Machine.

(Reactor, GLR, SSR, VLS, PTS, ANFD, FDS, Blander, application Lab, Distillation

and Absorption Coolum, Pilot Plant, R&D section, Sanitizer section, Screw

Conveyor, Mechanical Seal, all type of Valve, Pump & Gear Box , Storage Tank,

Boiler, Thermo-pack Boiler, DM Plant, RO, STP, WTP, Sand Filter, Cooling

Tower, Chilling plant, Brine Plant, Air Compressor, N2 Plant, RALF, HVAC,

Ejector, ZLD Project etc), Cleaning of all the water storage tank (PP, HDPE, SS,

MS, and underground water tank)

10. Ensuring availability of spares (With Critical Spare parts of all equipment)

11. Shut down/ Brake down planning with P.M.

12. Diagnosing breakdown problems; RCA analysis and CAPA.

13. Utility costs & efficiencies to be maintain for all the equipment and to ensure

that its runs on its maximum efficiency.

14. Calibration of equipment with the proper certificate.

15. Documentation of all the equipment, Preparation of SoP, Log Sheet, Data

analysis, ISO Documents, GMP Documents, FDA,

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have relevant experience in the pharmaceutical Industry and have regulatory exposure to USFDA/ MHRA/EU/TGA etc.
