Mechanical Technician

Role & responsibilities:

1.To carry out the rotating equipment's/ static equipment's maintenance as per the plant requirement.

2. To maintain the utility equipment's as per the operating standards.

3. Maintain the shift and consumable spares as per the schedule,and implementing the energy conservation & improvement activities.

4. Ensure all the departmental activities are in compliance with the all safety and quality standards. Work execution with all necessary personal protective equipments to nullify the incidents and accidents

5. Tracking history for each equipment and analyzing the root cause for a failures

6.Continuous assessment of existing systems/practices towards improvement in various fields like energy conservation, maintenance cost in terms of labour and spares

7.Preparing JSA for all the shutdown jobs in accordance with Chemplast Safety policies & procedures

8.Maintaining ISO documentations like Equipment History reports, Failure reports, Vendor analysis, Testing and certifications, PM reports etc ISO-14001 & OHSAS-18001 system compliance

9.Condition monitoring of equipment's using Vibration analyzing kit.

Required Skills:

1.Experience in both Rotating & Static Equipments troubleshooting, maintenance activity etc.

2.Maintenance Planning- Spares and manpower scheduling,Implementing and executing skills with focus on optimum utilization of manpower and materials.

3. Execute Mechanical Maintenance tasks with quality & Supervise mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure quality and timely completion and as per planning

Qualification:

Diploma In Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

4 to 8yrs of experience with required skills.
