Senior Registrar - Anaesthesiology

Assist in the assessment, preparation, and care of patients undergoing anesthesia for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring safe, effective anesthetic management . Work under the supervision of senior anesthetists to administer anesthesia, monitor patient vitals, and respond to any anesthesia-related complications during procedures . Provide pre-operative assessment by reviewing medical history, identifying risk factors, and discussing anesthesia plans with patients and their families . Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, anesthesia plans, and intraoperative events in the patients medical record . Support post-operative care by monitoring patients recovery from anesthesia, managing pain relief, and addressing any complications in the recovery room or ICU . Collaborate closely with surgical, nursing, and other healthcare teams to ensure a seamless anesthetic experience and improve patient outcomes . Participate in on-call rotation to handle emergency anesthesia cases, ensuring quick and safe responses to urgent medical needs . Engage in continuous learning and professional development through departmental meetings, case discussions, and training, staying updated on the latest anesthesia practices and guidelines . Uphold patient safety and confidentiality, following hospital policies, and contributing to a safe clinical environment .
