Job Description for Dental Call center

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Communication:
• Answer incoming calls from patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm dental appointments.
• Provide information about dental services, procedures, and policies.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and efficiency.
2. Administrative Support:
• Maintain accurate patient records in the dental management system.
• Verify and update patient insurance information.
• Assist with billing and payment processing.
• Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans and appointments.
3. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with dental clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Communicate effectively with dental hygienists, dentists, and administrative staff.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or dental office setting is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and dental management systems.
• Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and patient-focused attitude.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
