Project Manager (On site)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Project Manager to oversee the installation of Parboiling Plants, Rice Milling Units, Silos, Material Handling Equipment (Bucket Elevators, Chain Conveyors, Belt Conveyors) as well as Electrical and Airline Systems. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

1. Experience/qualifications requirements:

Education:

BE Mechanical Engineer or Diploma Mechanical Engineer

Experience:

610 years of onsite project management experience.

2. Primary duties and responsibilities:

Project Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain all project documentation at the site, including daily and weekly reports.
2. Update and manage issue logs and hindrance reports.
3. Prepare project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines for installation works.

Team Management:

1. Allocate tasks to the installation team based on material availability and project priorities.
2. Plan and communicate next weeks requirements to the reporting manager and company.
3. Ensure a safe and conducive working environment for the installation team.

Technical Oversight:

1. Interpret and work with mechanical, electrical, airline, Steam & Water pipeline drawings, and P&ID to guide the onsite team effectively.
2. Ensure that installation work adheres to design specifications and project standards.

Client Coordination:

1. Collaborate with the customer to provide updates on the project plan, progress, and upcoming activities.
2. Address customer concerns and obtain necessary support to facilitate smooth project execution.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all site activities comply with safety standards and regulations.

Problem Solving:

1. Identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the installation phase.
2. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Software and Documentation:

1. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools (preferably MS Project) for effective planning and tracking.

3.Skills and Specifications:

1. Strong knowledge of Parboiling, Rice Milling, Silos, and Material Handling Equipment installation.
2. Familiarity with Electrical and Airline System installations.
3. Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
4. Strong leadership and coordination skills.
5. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
6. Languages preferred - English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
