Technical Project Manager - Digital Engineering

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver end-to-end digital engineering projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive complex digital initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and industry-recognized certifications such as PMP and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, risk management, and change control processes.
• Identify, analyze, and proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring timely mitigation strategies and escalation where necessary.
• Establish, monitor, and report on project metrics and KPIs to track progress, ensure delivery quality, and measure success.
• Manage the projects Profit & Loss (P&L), including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets.
• Drive staffing and resource planning, including team composition, hiring, onboarding, and ensuring the right skill sets align with project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Implement and drive Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies to optimize project delivery, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and implement best practices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress, financials, risks, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align project outcomes with broader organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of experience in technical project management, specifically in digital engineering or software development environments.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of digital engineering processes, software development life cycle (SDLC), and cloud technologies.
• Certifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Good to have
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary digital projects from initiation to delivery.
• Hands-on experience with P&L management, including cost control, revenue forecasting, and optimizing project profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, mitigate, and manage risks across large-scale, multi-phase projects.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in project metrics, including defining, tracking, and optimizing KPIs to ensure successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage staffing and resource allocation, ensuring optimal team composition and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Experience in Healthcare and Life Science domain will be added advantage.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other project tracking tools.
