Executive/Sr. Executive Accounts

Apeejay Education Society is looking for a dynamic accounts individual who can manage the accounting cycle of posting entries to closing the financial books and taxation.

JD:-

• Record, monitor, and update financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts.
• Ensure accuracy and timely posting of transactions in the Tally system.
• Support the preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations for accounts, including bank, ledger, vendor, and customer accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of trial balances, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Compile and analyze financial information to assist in preparing accurate reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering and organizing relevant financial data.
• Monitor actual expenses against budgeted figures and report variances.
• Assist in applying cost accounting methods to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of operational costs to ensure efficiency
• Assist in preparing and filing statutory tax returns, including TDS, GST, Advance Tax, and Income Tax.
• Conduct basic reconciliations of tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Liaise with auditors by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries during internal and external audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation to meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external consultants, vendors, and auditors for compliance and process completion.
• Provide assistance to senior team members and managers in financial planning and analysis.
• Support ad-hoc projects and reporting tasks as required.
