Manager - Sustainability & Environment (10-15 yrs)

The incumbent should be an Environmental Engineer or Equivalent with around 10 to 15 years of experience in Sustainability and Environment in a large / mid size Multinational Manufacturing Companies. Should have Strong knowledge of environmental regulations including air, wastewater, storm water, remediation, and hazardous waste and GRI, BRSR, SASB etc.

The incumbent will be responsible for :

- Leading, aligning and implementing comprehensive environmental strategies aligned with the company's corporate objectives.

- Monitoring, interpreting and assessing industry trends and emerging environmental issues to advise senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.

- Drafting, reviewing, and updating environmental policies to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws and standards, including ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.

- Ensuring environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and risk assessments conducted for new projects and existing operations.

- Collaborating with plant managers and leadership team to identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with operations.

- Responsible for reporting & compliance as per BRSR, GRI, CDP or relevant requirements to Organization's Sustainability team.

- Designing and delivering training programs for employees on environmental policies and practices.
