We are looking for a Head HSE, (Director) (Health, Safety & Environment) who will be responsible for activities of the EHS function of our Site at Dahej.

Job Location - Dahej ,Bharuch.

Qualification : BE | BTech Chemical Engineering.

Industry - Chemical Manufacturing.

Experience : 15+ years.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Act as the management representative or member for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

- Coordinate the certification and recertification processes for ISO systems.

- Provide overall leadership, guidance, assurance, and accountability for managing HSE & Sustainability across CRAMS Business.

- Lead Environmental and Sustainability projects, identifying opportunities and providing solutions for a sustainable future.

- Demonstrate proficiency in water and wastewater treatment systems, waste management, air quality management, and environmental impact assessment studies, including liaising with SEAC/MOEF on EC & TOR matters.

- Review and update the existing HSE policy framework to align with business needs and current scenarios.

- Drive the establishment of systems for HAZOP/LOPA/QRA/ESIA as necessary for system compliance and coordinate safety clearances for all CAPEX Projects.

- Foster a knowledge-sharing and learning culture within the organization by identifying training needs and organizing seminars, symposiums, workshops, and training programs on Health, Safety, Environment, and Industrial Hygiene for Executives, Supervisors, and Contractors.

- Demonstrate proficiency in fire prevention and firefighting systems.

- Document and implement all HSE management systems.

- Prepare yearly budgets for HSE and ensure maintenance.

- Develop subordinates to enhance the core functionality of the HSE department.

- Demonstrate experience in TFS audits and ensure timely closure of all audit observations; develop CAPA with 360-degree implementation across the site.

Additional Points:.

- Supports the site leadership in establishing short and long term HSE objectives for the site, to ensure personnel safety and minimization of environmental footprint.

- Establishes site HSE metrics, drives action plans and regularly publishes status updates.

- Collaboratively equips the site leadership team in establishing and maintaining an effective operating environment that facilitates HSE cultural growth.

- Ensures mechanisms are established to identify and manage HSE regulatory requirements that apply to site operations including preparation of impact assessments, permit applications, registrations, and certifications; preparation and review of routine and special reports; and oversight of routine inspection.

- Timely evaluation and periodic review of the site operational HSE profile, to ensure application of effective controls.

- Evaluation of Process safety testing's & Powder Safety testing's assessments for RM's, Intermediates, APIs along with internal Process safety laboratory scientists.

- Expertise on Handling of Process Safety Assessment Projects.

- Provide Trainings on process safety for Site leaders (Chemical Hazards, PHA (HAZOP, What If. ) Run Away reactions, dust explosion, PSI, PSSRs, Safety Culture, Emergency Plan, Static Electricity, PSM SOPs, CCPS 20 Elements).

- Expertise to carry out Chemical & Noise Exposure assessment.

- Initial basic characterization and exposure assessment for the chemicals.

- Baseline exposure assessment.

- Validation of the results.

- Strengthen Occupational hygiene program at site with low cost solutions. Technical knowledge on PHAST 7. 11 ( QRA Dispersion Modelling ) & Vent Sizing.
