Global Enviornment Manager - Manufacturing Firm (9-12 yrs)

Global Enviornment Manager required for a leading Multinational Manufacturing Company.

Location - Gurugram (Haryana)

The incumbent should be an Environmental Manager or Equivalent with around 9 to 12 years of overall experience in Environment Management in a large / mid size Multinational Manufacturing Companies out of which 5 to 7 years in Factories and 2 to 5 years at Corporate. Should have Strong knowledge of environmental regulations including air, wastewater, storm water, remediation, and hazardous waste and GRI, BRSR, SASB etc.

Should have knowldge of European Enviornmental laws and Policies.

The incumbent will be responsible for :

- Leading, aligning and implementing comprehensive environmental strategies aligned with the company's corporate objectives.

- Monitoring, interpreting and assessing industry trends and emerging environmental issues to advise senior management on potential impacts and opportunities.

- Drafting, reviewing, and updating environmental policies to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws and standards, including ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.

- Ensuring environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and risk assessments conducted for new projects and existing operations.

- Collaborating with plant managers and leadership team to identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with operations.

- Responsible for reporting & compliance as per BRSR, GRI, CDP or relevant requirements to Organization's Sustainability team.

- Designing and delivering training programs for employees on environmental policies and practices.
