- Job Brief: We are looking for QA Tester on the Aon Reinsurance QA team with performance testing experience
- In this role, the QA Tester should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication, competent in performance scripting, interpret test cases, and passionate about quality
- Ultimately, the QA Tester will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly
- QA Tester responsibilities include: Reviewing and analyzing features and user stories to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
- Identify test requirements from specifications, document detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and test scenarios for performance testing
- Collaborate with QA colleagues to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute performance test and analyze present results
- Reporting and documenting defects Active participation as a member of the Scrum team Communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption
- Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing, and coordination of release activities
- Adhere to the existing policies, processes, and procedures established for the Reinsurance Quality Assurance Team
- Requirements / Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years performance test experience in LoadRunner Minimum of 6 months manual test experience Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision
- Ability to think strategically, demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment
- Demonstrate solid understanding of testing fundamentals
- Demonstrate effective professional communication (written and verbal) skills
- Agile Training/Certification and/or Experience Reinsurance Experience, preferred
