Our client is a leading Lifestyle fashion brand in India . We are looking to hire Trade Channel Finance Manager for Mumbai location The ideal candidate should have deep understanding within Financial planning and Trade Channels.
Job Summary: The Trade Channel Finance Manager will oversee the financial performance of trade and distribution channels, working closely with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to optimize trade spend, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness. This role requires strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills, along with a focus on aligning trade activities with company financial goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for trade channels. Analyse trade promotions, pricing strategies, and distribution costs to evaluate effectiveness.
Trade Spend Management: Monitor trade spending, assess ROI on promotions, and ensure compliance with trade agreements to minimize financial risks.
Pricing & Profitability Analysis: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop pricing strategies, analyze product profitability, and assess the impact of pricing changes, discounts, and rebates.
Reporting & Analytics: Provide detailed financial reporting, track KPIs, and work with demand planning to align projections with budget. Present insights to senior management.
Collaboration & Business Partnering: Act as a finance partner to sales and marketing teams, supporting trade marketing initiatives and contract negotiations with distributors.
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control standards, minimize financial risk, and conduct audits.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of finance professionals, provide guidance on financial matters, and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Customer Ledger Reconciliation: Manage reconciliation of customer ledgers, monitor collections, and maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) as per targets.
Qualifications:
Education: CA with at least 2 years of experience or freshers with mandatory internship.
Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, experience with trade promotions, pricing strategies, and margin analysis. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and advanced Excel. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen. Candidates from Apparel industry preferred.
