Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editing Specialist to create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience editing both short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, as well as long-form videos for YouTube. Your role will involve crafting visually compelling videos that align with trending styles, brand aesthetics, and audience engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form videos specifically designed for social media platforms.
• Edit long-form videos tailored for YouTube, maintaining a consistent narrative and quality.
• Incorporate trendy animations, text overlays, transitions, and other creative elements to enhance video engagement.
• Conduct research and create scripts for video content.
• Optimize videos for various social media platforms, ensuring proper aspect ratios, durations, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize video ideas and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends to create content that resonates with the audience.

Requirements:

• Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience in editing social media videos, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Familiarity with video requirements for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and long-form YouTube content.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and emerging trends.
• Ability to conduct research for informative and engaging video content.
• Experience in creating video scripts.
• Ability to work remotely and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Basic understanding of social media marketing strategies.
• Experience with content creation tools like Canva or CapCut is an added advantage.
