Animall - Android Developer - Kotlin (3-7 yrs)

About the role :

The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and traditional Android UI components such as Views, Fragments, and WebView. The role involves handling WebView customization, managing data flow with LiveData & Coroutines, and ensuring efficient communication between app components.

What are we looking for? (Must Haves)

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK and Coroutines
• Strong expertise in WebView (JavaScript handling, WebViewClients, caching)
• Experience with Flow, LiveData, ViewModel for reactive data management
• Knowledge of foreground/background Services, WorkManager, and BroadcastReceivers
• Strong UI development skills using XML layouts, RecyclerView, ViewPager, ViewGroups
• Experience with Room Database, TypeConverters, and local caching
• Hands-on experience with Retrofit, OkHttp for network operations
• Understanding of MVVM architecture and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and lifecycle management skills
• Experience with Git for version control

• Familiarity with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications)
• Experience with Play Store submission & app lifecycle management
• Knowledge of Amplitude for analytics
