Your Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Interaction design (Master degree is a bonus).
- 3 to 5 years of working experience at a design consultancy or similar environment.
- A strong body of portfolio/work outlining your ability to fulfill the role above.
- You love products and you love design. You have a keen eye and obsess over details because you know thats the difference between good products and great products.
- Youre extremely collaborative in a team environment but equally comfortable working autonomously.
- Youre an excellent communicator and able to tailor your style to a specific audience whether it be external partners or internal stakeholders.
- A person that has a passion for their craft, is able to innovate or even restart when they hit roadblocks to create fresh IP-worthy designs.
- A natural leader who is comfortable taking ownership, with a desire to win in a highly competitive environment.
- Working collaboratively and implementing critical feedback effectively.
- Collaborate with the lead industrial designers and team to drive innovation in projects from start to finish.
- Conduct research and analysis of client needs and user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop and present design concepts and solutions to clients and other stakeholders.
- Create detailed design documentation, including sketches, renderings, and technical drawings.
- Work with rapid prototyping processes, such as 3D printing and CNC machining to create prototypes and test designs.
- Conduct user testing and incorporate the feedback into design iterations.
- Ensure designs meet project goals, deadlines and budget constraints.
- Develop designs with engineers to maintain the products intent and optimize details that are manufacturing and assembly friendly.
