Job Description:
Primary Purpose:
- Candidate should possess excellent knowledge and execution capabilities to assist in innovative debt raising avenues which are cost effective and help the overall financial health of the Group.
- Having a good rapport with top management of various Banks, fund houses both domestic as well as international is must.
- Candidate will be responsible for raising domestic/international banking lines, foreign currency risk, equity base funding and cash management system for the Ampersand Group.
- Understanding of the latest financial and operational technologies will be an added advantage.
Key Accountabilities/Activities:
- Identifying additional avenues in raising funds, keeping in mind overall funding requirements at Ampersand Group level.
- Be updated with various non-conventional modes of fund raise such as bill discounting, Letter of Credit, BG funding etc.
- Develop strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to initiate, ideate and bring on table innovative fund raise deals.
- Assisting in exploring options for reducing the effective cost of funds and/ or identifying avenues to reduce security coverage for the existing loans based on market practice.
- Assisting Global Treasury head in effective deployment of surplus funds.
- Partnering with business to add value in new & innovative banking structures & modelling, negotiations, compliance, and reporting.
- Nurture professional relationships with internal & external stakeholders such that business goals & objectives are timely met.
- Ensuring strict timelines towards funding lines and its compliances.
- Constant vigilant approach based on changes in business or external factors.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders for collation of data.
- Critically analyzing the data received from finance team before submission to banks and financial institutions.
- Preparation of future projections, in coordination with business and finance teams.
- Coordination with banks and financial institutions for collation and submission of the requisite data.
- Coordinating for obtaining the loan disbursement, EMI, interest accrual, balance confirmation and TDS certificates from banks and financial institutions.
- Monitoring renewal and repayment schedules.
- Ensuring release of securities and compliance towards closed loans.
- Month End and Quarter end book closing activities related to borrowings.
Internal:
Key Interactions:
- Interfacing Finance, Business Teams, and other departments as and when required.
- Reporting to VP, Treasury, Relationship.
External:
- Candidate needs to be external market focused and needs strong relationship with banks and financial institutions.
Competencies Required For The Role:
- Should have good knowledge of banking regulations, exchange control regulations and other RBI guidelines relating to fund raise.
- Should be good in Microsoft Excel.
- Should be well versed with Accounting ERPs such as Tally, Microsoft, SAP.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- An organized and detail mind with a good sense of responsibility.
- A team player with high energy levels.
- Ability to work independently under pressure with a can-do attitude.
- The person must be a domain expert with strong control over key concepts of Treasury & Banking.
- Knowledge of preparation of CMA and other Financial Modelling along with accounting MIS is a Must.
Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant / MBA with 5-7 years of experience.
