Amlgo Labs - Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (6-10 yrs)

Required Skills :

- B./ B.Tech / M.Tech/ MCA in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field

- 6+ years of IT experience with a min of 3+ years in Data Science (AI/ML)

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Hands-on AI/ML modeling experience of complex datasets combined with a strong understanding of the theoretical foundations of AI/ML(Research Oriented).

- Expertise in most of the following areas : supervised & unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, federated learning, time series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, and optimization.

- Hands-on experience on design, and optimizing LLM, natural language processing (NLP) systems, frameworks, and tools.

- Building RAG application independently using available open source LLM models.

- Comfortable working in the cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.g, AWS/Azure/GCP, Databricks).

- Experience training and deploying NLP models

Preferable :

- Experience with multi-modal models such as OpenAI CLIP/BLIP

- Expertise in numpy, pandas, Scikit, TensorFlow, converting ML/DL/AI models to production ready, data processing validation.

- Expertise in relational databases specifically in SQL and proficiency in Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Awareness of managed services like PostgreSQL, Redis.

- Prior experience of working on Analytics/Data Science projects (applications that manage and deploy ML/DL/statistical models to predict/prescribe) as a software developer or ML engineer.

- Expertise in architecture, design and software development best practices.

- Have good communication, Problem-solving skills, Collaboration, Influencing and articulation.

Responsibilities :

- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes

- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data

- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms

- Combine models through ensemble modeling

- Present information using data visualization techniques

- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
