Purchase Executive

Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Locate vendors of materials or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sale.
• Verify and track received inventory, and complete inventory reports and logs.
• process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Analyse the market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual merchandise.
• implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
• Resolve vendor grievances and claims.
• Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
• direct and coordinate activities of buying and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.
