Job Title: Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)
Location: New Delhi Commitment: Full-Time (Work From Office)
CTC: - 7-11 LPA (Fixed) + - 3-6 LPA (Incentives) + ESOPs
About the Role:
As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Amitoje India, you will take ownership of launching and scaling new business verticals, starting with digital displays-a new product category integrating electronics into our market-leading display solutions. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve measurable results.
You'll work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities, create market strategies, and lead teams across sales, R&D, and production to ensure the success of the new venture.
Your Daily Mission:
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a one-year go-to-market plan for digital displays, leveraging Amitoje's existing strengths like our 700+ client relationships and robust manufacturing facilities in NCR.
- P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for this business vertical, setting and achieving ambitious revenue targets while optimizing costs.
- Team Collaboration:
- Lead the 20-member sales team spread across five cities, ensuring they are trained and equipped to sell digital solutions.
- Collaborate with the R&D team (3-4 members, with limited digital expertise) and the production team to develop and deliver high-quality products.
- Work with the 2D and 3D design team to create visually impactful and functional display concepts.
- Client Engagement: Leverage existing relationships with top brands like ITC, PepsiCo, and Amazon to secure early traction and establish credibility in the digital category.
- Marketing & Awareness: Oversee marketing efforts, ensuring effective positioning of digital displays in key industries like retail, FMCG, and exhibitions.
- Problem Solving: Navigate challenges such as limited team experience in electronics and ensure seamless integration of this new category into existing operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in strategy, business development, or launching new ventures, with direct P&L responsibility preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven ability to think independently, execute with minimal guidance, and achieve measurable results.
- Leadership Skills: Strong capability to lead cross-functional teams, build consensus, and inspire high performance.
- Market Understanding: Deep knowledge of retail displays, FMCG, or tech-driven product markets is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Track record of overcoming challenges in ambiguous environments.
