Job Description
- Reconciling Daily cash receipts and payments from Bank account to sub-ledger to General Ledger.
- Identifying open items from Bank Reconciliation and making sure that the right person in the team is aware and completed the booking.
- Publish the open item tracker and organize closure of items identified
- Monthly cash reconciliation for audit purposes.
- Weekly / Monthly deposit to vendors reconciliation involving advances paid, RNI (received not invoiced).
- Support audit requests regarding cash (providing P21 screenshots, statements, etc)
- Keeping a live list of Deposits to vendors for audit purposes.
- Preparing providing reports as required by stakeholders
- Perform accounting services necessary to support other entities
- Responsible for the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial information.
- Ensures timely completion/ adherence to all applicable legal / statutory audit requirements.
- Ensure the team fully complies with internal company controls and reports on a timely and correct basis to the Internal Control
- Provide information to stakeholders as and when required.
- Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues on a timely basis
- Implement best practices for accounting reporting process and proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
