Key skills for the job
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor overnight/weekend orchestration jobs to ensure successful data refreshes. Trace, identify, and troubleshoot failed pipelines.
Assess tasks and timelines required for on-time and quality deliverables.
Collaborate with colleagues to share and propagate best practices.
Maintain a data and information environment that provides consistent and accurate reporting of client data.
Monitor health of APIs via system alerts, worker restarts/crashes, high utilization, and any spikes in monitoring queue volumes for potential issue escalation.
Research and analyze alerts, errors, and traffic to identify source of issue. Utilize ServiceNow for issue tracking.
Document/review CHIP transactions/logs for success and failures using admin tools.
Check downstream application and document transaction status to ensure successful filing of transactions.

Experience and Educational Requirements
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience leading the creation/support of data and analytic products.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages like Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or Qlik View/Qlik Sence.
Proficient in writing SQL queries for different database environments like SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake.
Experience in PowerBI/ Tableau Reporting deployments, Tableau administration tasks, including backup and recovery, monitoring, and security a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis and research.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Azure Data Engineer with Azure Data Factory pipelines skills
Job monitoring skills, ability to trace and identify failed pipelines
Familiar with Data Storage, Databricks, and Pyspark
Skilled in system monitoring, research, and analysis, able to identify issues and root causes.
Strong problem-solving, quantitative, analytical skills.
Ability to understand and update complex SQL queries
Must be able to manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring aggressive deadlines are met.
Working knowledge and experience with App Insights, Power BI, APIs, Oracle (SQL), DevOps, and ServiceNow required.
Strong time management skills - able to prioritize, organize, and plan work effectively.
Ability to track key performance metrics/indicators (KPIs) on API transactions such as system throughput time and others as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both with business-facing and technical-facing colleagues.
Strong problem-solving ability.
