We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Hospital IT Manager to oversee and manage the information technology operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, managing a team of IT professionals, and implementing new technologies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the hospitals IT department.
Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure the security and integrity of hospital data and IT systems.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
Provide technical support to hospital staff.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Develop and manage the IT budget.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs.
Implement new technologies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems.
Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems.
Manage IT projects from inception to completion.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the healthcare industry.
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Conduct regular audits of IT systems and processes.
Ensure the hospital's IT infrastructure is scalable and adaptable to future needs.
Provide training and support to hospital staff on new technologies.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
Prepare and present reports on IT performance and initiatives to hospital leadership.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
