General Manager - Head Operations / Senior Manager - IT

Role & responsibilities

Position Summary - Oversee day to day operations including the management of IT applications and data governance, security and compliances, digital and physical infrastructure, and operations management covering contract management, vendor development, procurement.

• Manage the relationship with the companys facilities management provider, in representing and managing IT and administration related tasks and facility management.
• Manage the relationship with Business units, HR, Marketing communications and management  in representing and implementing issues related to staff and facilities support. 
• Develop, implement and maintain a cohesive digital architecture for the India enterprise entities, in coordination with ASMEs International operations office, Project Management Office (PMO), namely within the Digital Transformation (DX) initiative.
• Lead and represent India enterprise entities and relationship with ASME IT, integrating universal digital needs and soliciting India-specific solutions.
• Monitor India enterprise entities employees digital experience by first auditing needs, capabilities, and limitations and then instituting requisite technological solutions customers digital experience
• Align India operations and employees’ work with ASME’s DX and Workforce Transformation (WfX) initiatives and enterprise goals framework. 
• Manage and represent to internal stakeholders the AIPL budget/forecasting framework and support the operationalization of ASME India as a central hub within the broader organization .
• Liaise with the ASME International operations, Finance/Accounting, and Legal teams on  India enterprise entities internal budgeting/forecasting and external tax compliance with Indian law/regulations. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• 10– 12 years of Services industry or Association Management experience. A couple of years of experience in heading IT and operations is a must.
• Should have indepth understanding of developing and maintaining systems and application infrastructure.
• Skilled in data structure and data management.
• Reasonable working knowledge of variety of business applications such as salesforce ERP, 365 cloud, Sharefile, Tableau, Airtable, ADP, Lattice, Litmos etc and managing digital communication/ e- commerce portals.
• Bachelors from a premier institution is required and Masters in IT/ Operations management will be an added advantage.
• Should be adept with data security laws in India and overseas ex – DPDP and GDPR regulations.
• Past exposure to managing vendors in IT, publishing, event-based services.
• A go-getter with an execution-oriented business mindset
• Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities.
• Has good Internal & External communication skills.
