Information Security Specialist

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of proven experience in network security, specifically with NIPS and WAF technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, CISCO, Checkpoint , AWS, and Azure.
• Strong understanding of firewall assessment tools and processes.
• Experience with DDoS solutions and mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency in automating operational activities using scripting languages or automation tools.
• Experience conducting network security tools maturity assessments.
• Experience running proof of concepts (PoCs) and supporting tool strategy development.
• Experience conducting technical root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience with other security technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (eg, GDPR, HIPAA).
