GM: Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities:

* Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO standards and other relevant industry standards.

*Develop and maintain supplier quality programs, working closely with suppliers to ensure they meet quality expectations.

*Conduct supplier audits and collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions and improvement plans.

*Identify opportunities for process improvements through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean manufacturing techniques.

*Lead, develop, and manage the Quality Assurance department to meet the company's objectives, delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Handle customer complaints and quality issues, working directly with customers to resolve concerns and improve customer satisfaction.

* Monitor key quality metrics, such as defect rates, yield, and customer returns, and provide analysis to leadership.

* Responsible for TDC (Technical Delivery Conditions) for any queries that the customer needs.

* Responsible for maintaining identification and traceability of product at every required stage as per defined procedures.

* Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, optimizing production, and minimizing waste.

* Lead initiatives to track and measure customer satisfaction, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

* Should have experience in the Quality Assurance department working as Quality Head in manufacturing industry (preference to the Automotive Industry).

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

* In-depth understanding of quality assurance procedures and relevant legal standards.

* Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, ISO 9001, etc.)

* He should have knowledge of Metallography, Microstructure, Heat Treatment, NDT, Statistical quality control procedures, TQM, etc.

* Strong knowledge of automotive quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving.

* Good communication and leadership skills.
