Production Engineer

Job Summary: The Production Planning Specialist will oversee end-to-end production activities of Lithium ion battery manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.

Role & responsibilities

• Production Scheduling & Planning, develop and maintain production schedules for Li-on Battery manufacturing, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts, inventory needs, and delivery timelines.
• Resource Allocation, optimize resource usage (labor, materials, machinery) to maximize production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods levels, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain production standards and troubleshoot issues affecting production flow.
• Performance Monitoring, track and report on production KPIs and identify areas for process improvement.
• Ensure smooth transitions between manufacturing and production control, facilitating timely quality checks and product dispatch.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, preferably in cell manufacturing.
• Having Lithium ion industry experience will be preferable
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and process optimization abilities.
