Manager / Senior Manager - Production

Role & responsibilities

Responsible to lead the complete Assembly shop activities that supports the final program delivery, in order to achieve the production plan with adherence to quality standards, cost targets, safety standards and effective utilization resources.

1. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and meet production targets

2. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality

3. Monitor production metrics, such as yield, cycle time, and scrap rates, and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency

4. Evaluate production equipment and machinery to identify opportunities for improvement

Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to optimize production efficiency

5. Provides direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, coaching, training, development, allocating work assignment, review of progress in achieving objectives, etc.

6. Works with Manufacturing engineering in reviewing methods of operations to improve efficiency and rates including scale up of new equipment and processes

7. Maintains compliance with company policies and safety levels

8. investigates alternative assembly/production methods

Preferred candidate profile

• 12 to 18 years of exp in handling assembly shop operations
• must have exposure in production, business excellence & quality.
