Engineer - Mechanical (Packaging Division)

Role & responsibilities

Responsible to provide technical support and services for the assembly, and maintenance of Packing Machines across the plant.

• Ensure nil downtime of packing equipment on account of packing system failure.
• Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines of packing machines.
• Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient.
• Maintain inventory of critical spares.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedule.
• Periodic inspection and checking of system to confirm all critical controls are tamperproof and will not lead to any emergency situation or major quality deviation.
• Management of documents and records equipment history card, calibration certificates, inspection/ validation reports, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI / B.E / B.Tech (work exposure in maintenance of packing machines like Pakona, Starpack, Akash, Nichrome or other VFFS machines)
• Open to relocate to Umbergaon (Sanjan),Gujarat.
• We are an FMCG Company into Tea blending and Packaging and candidate shall be part of the Production Maintenance team handling the packaging machines maintenance and operations.
