JOB DESCRIPTION
Job role: Director â Total Rewards & Process Excellence
Location: Bangalore (working from oï¬ce)
Compensation & Beneï¬ts is an important arm of the People Function with
responsibilities extending from designing and delivering programs to executing them
seamlessly. This team owns and drives processes and data in collaboration with
other sub-teams. Team members will be looked upon as the subject matter experts
and will be expected to coach and guide stakeholders in the organization to upkeep
the philosophy and fairness on compensation and beneï¬ts related matters for India
and International locations (US, UK, Singapore, Poland and Croatia).
The Director of Total Rewards & Process Excellence plays a pivotal role in designing,
implementing and executing key programs. The individual will contribute to creating
impactful programs and processes while ensuring seamless deployment across the
organization. They champion the cause of increasing awareness and understanding
of these programs in the organization. The position will oversee the People
Operations and Payroll teams, ensuring full compliance with governance and
regulatory requirements. A strong focus will be placed on streamlining processes
and fostering operational eï¬ciency to enhance organizational effectiveness.
This position reports to the VP of the People Excellence team and serves as a critical
partner in aligning Total Rewards strategies and people processes with the
organization's broader goals. Members of the Rewards, Operations, Payroll and
Compliance teams will report into this position.
Job Requirements:
â Review external & internal benchmarks and establish competitive salary and
equity ranges
â Drive the implementation of programs like salary planning, merit increases,
Policies, new beneï¬t programs, etc.
â Provide decision support for policy design â analysis, budgeting, modeling
â Design, develop and analyze to provide intelligence around effectiveness of
our compensation and beneï¬t programs
â Work with managers and HR business partners to implement appropriate
engagement & retention strategies for top talent
â Acquire knowledge from time to time on external trends â Market pricing,
changing regulatory environment vis-Ã -vis Total Rewards
â Keep the salary and equity guidance numbers up to date covering all jobs in
the organization
â Lead the People Operations and Payroll teams, establish strong people
processes and drive adherence as the org prepares for the next phase of
growth
â Partner and drive Rewards and People Operations activities in an M & A event
Desired Skills and Experience:
â 12 to 15 years of relevant experience
â Knowledge & good understanding of different elements of a comprehensive
rewards program in a Global organization
â Specialized knowledge in Total Rewards â Base Pay, Merit Program, Short
Term and Long Term Incentives, Sales Incentives, Equity, etc
â Good understanding of the People Operations activities, fair knowledge of
audits, compliance and regulatory requirements of different geographies
â Proï¬ciency in MSOï¬ce, GSuite and Analysis tools
â Effective business communication
â MBA or Equivalent from a reputed Institution
