Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver ServiceNow solutions adhering to technical standards and leading practices.
• Analyze and define system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions.
• Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Collect requirements from users and provide technical solutions.
• Guide junior developers in task completion.
• Implement requirements by defining and analyzing system problems.
• Produce and maintain Standard Operating Procedures on network security operations.
• Provide oversight and unit testing of code developed by partners or internal employees.
• Review business processes to leverage ServiceNow platform capabilities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
• Guide business stakeholders and teams in completing technical documentation.
• Write technical documents for developers to follow and deliver solutions.
• Support projects and efforts that have a broad impact on Service Management implementation.

Required Skills

• Experience with workflows in key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SecOps).
• Excellent communication skills and a business-centric attitude.
• Proficiency with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web services, etc.), App Engine, Flow Designer, Workflows.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment and with Agile methodologies.
• Strong focus on code quality and reusability.
• Ability to manage the setup, administration, and configuration of ServiceNow.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software application issues.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Experience in IT service management and troubleshooting integration, management, security, and application issues.
• Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow.

Required Qualification

• 8+ years of experience in technical solution design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, preferably in the finance, insurance, IT shared services, or consulting sectors.
• Experience with ServiceNOW technologies, especially ITSM/CMDB/ITOM/ITAM.
• ITIL V3/V4 Certification.
• ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification.
• ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) Certification.
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM.
• Micro certificate Integration Hub fundamentals.
• Additional CIS certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, Software Asset Management, and Hardware Asset Management are a plus.
