ALTROCK - Functional Consultant - SAP Services (3-7 yrs)

About the Job:

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Functional Consultants with expertise in various SAP modules to join our dynamic team in Chennai. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful SAP solutions to our clients, ensuring seamless business process integration and optimization. You will leverage your deep understanding of SAP functionalities and your strong analytical skills to provide expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert support and implementation services for various SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP SD, MM, ABAP, FICO, and PP. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design and configure SAP solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. -

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation & Configuration:

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Configure SAP modules according to client business requirements and best practices.

- Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and technical documentation.

- Conduct thorough testing and ensure the quality of SAP solutions.

Business Process Analysis & Consulting:

- Analyze and understand client business processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide expert advice on SAP best practices and industry standards.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

SAP Support & Maintenance:

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in a timely manner.

- Perform system monitoring and performance tuning.

- Apply SAP notes and support packages as needed.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:

- Effectively communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.

- Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP developers) to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions.

- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress.

- Conduct Finance analysis as needed.

Documentation:

- Create detailed documentation regarding business process, and SAP configuration.

- Keep documentation up to date.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

- 3-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP implementation and support.

- Proven experience in at least one or more of the following SAP modules: SD, MM, ABAP, FICO, PP.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization.

- Knowledge of SAP integration with other systems.

- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and basic programming concepts (for relevant modules).

- Strong understanding of business processes related to the SAP module(s) of expertise.

Soft Skills:

Education:
