Kanmalai Technologies - Functional Consultant - SAP MM Module (6-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to procurement processes (sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, vendor management).

- Design and document detailed functional specifications for SAP MM solutions.

- Conduct workshops and presentations to communicate solutions and gather feedback from stakeholders.

- Configure and customize SAP MM modules (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Materials Management) to meet specific business requirements.

- Configure master data (materials, vendors, customers) and maintain data integrity.

- Implement and maintain pricing procedures, release strategies, and flexible workflows.

- Configure and maintain stock transport orders, movement types, and automatic account determination.

- Integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP) and third-party systems.

- Design and implement interfaces for data exchange (IDOCs, file mappings).

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests.

- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user training.

- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure.

- Adhere to project timelines and budgets.

- Collaborate effectively with project teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.

- Strong understanding of SAP MM modules (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Materials Management).

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and support.

- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.

- Expertise in configuring pricing procedures, release procedures, and flexible workflows.

- Strong understanding of master data maintenance and data quality.

- Experience with integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP).

- Experience with IDOCs and other interface technologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
