Industrial Quality Engineer

You'll ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by ALSTOM facilities, making a significant impact on the quality of our transport solutions. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Industrial, Testing, Supply Chain), conduct inspections, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of rolling stock fitted car inspection and customer management, but also develop rigorous control plans for rolling stock inspection to achieve zero customer complaints.

Well look to you for:

• Encouraging and promoting proper quality criteria to production teams
• Performing on-site root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions
• Collating and evaluating quality data to identify process improvement opportunities
• Contributing to site improvement actions and programs related to the Industrial Quality scope
• Functionally managing a team of inspectors
• Reporting KPIs, defects, and quality incidents
• Driving a culture of 'Right First Time' to increase quality performance

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics)
• Experience or understanding of Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the rolling stock or related industry
• Knowledge of 8D Methodology, PFEMA & Control plans, and Statistical process controls
• Familiarity with ISO 9001-2015 standards
• A Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
• Fluency in English and strong team management skills
