Job Title: Crewing Manager

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple offshore clients sailing various kind of vessels in different regions, mainly in South Africa, Middles East and India. Crew change planning, ensuring documentation as per compliance/MLC and flag-state.
• Identifying and sourcing qualified officers / crew as per charter/client requirement in time.
• Familiarize with ONGC charter requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as MLC, SOLAS, and flag state requirements.
• Implement crew management policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Manage crew documentation, including certificates, licenses, and medical records.
• Coordinate with vessel masters, officers, and crew to ensure smooth operations and address any crew-related issues.
• Monitor and report on crew performance, including attendance, discipline, and training.
• Develop and manage budgets for crew operations, including travel, accommodations, and training.
• Ensure effective communication with crew, management, and external stakeholders
• Participate in audits, inspections, and investigations related to crew management.
• Supporting the Crewing Head with all Crewing day-to-day activities

Educational Requirements:

• Graduation in any stream Work Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years in offshore crew management.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, including MLC, SOLAS, and flag state requirements.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of offshore crewing requirements for O & G charters
• Excellent negotiation & convincing skills
• Preparedness and organizing
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in MS Office and crew management software
